Still Going

Marina continues to work in dance after a number of attempts to change activity. In this solo, she is not sure if she’s trying to retire. Drawn back time and again, undecided, unsettled and awkwardly suspended, Marina and Tom are inevitably left hovering.

“Marina Collard’s Still Going is a simply beautiful, resonant short solo that both honours and subtly poses questions about a life in dance. Working with film-maker Tom Paine, Collard conjures sounds, imprints images in the mind’s eye and elicits feelings in a manner that is quietly magical.”
